 So once under the anaesthetic, the vet found what the problem is! She has a small puncture wound at the back of her throat, which has caused an abcess, which has spread infection to her eye! He has drained it, and she's getting more antibiotics. We have no idea how she's done this - maybe a stick on the field? :?

Anyhow, at least now we know, and it is fixable! :D :D 8-)

Oh my goodness - wow! Thank goodness she was well enough for the anaesthetic today and they found it - that really can't have been pleasant for her. Soft mushy food for a few days then?

Gentle fusses for her when she gets home x

Oh my word, so is this completely separate from the colitis then?

I bet that is s stick injury.

So glad they have found it and she can now start getting better

Oh my giddy aunt!

Our friends Jeff & John's dog Oscar had very similar Kaz...the vet thought it might have been a twig/stick in a field on his walks.

Hugs for you all. xxx
