Aw Ally that is lovely it has made me all leaky eyed, thank you xxx

Thank you everyone for your lovely words, it is hard when people think but surely a chicken is a chicken. My friend Kerry reminded me of the day we sat in the garden and I had a bracelet on with green beads. Marigold was so convinced this bracelet was edible, I ended up taking it off and letting her wander around with it in her beak until she gave in and let me have it back.

In the early days when I just had her and Millie I could let them out, but 6 destroyed the garden so she had to spend more time being a chicken and not a dog/chicken/human hybrid

Humph the tortoise will be relieved, he will be able to wander around without her standing there ready to bop him on the head every time he stuck it out of his shell. Such fun, out, bop, in, wait a few seconds out, bop, in

Oh Shell, I'm so sorry...she sounded such a character, I had to laugh about her and Humph.

She definitely sounds like a character, MM. I think if I lived in a quiet area with a large garden I'd definitely consider keeping some.

I don't live in a quiet area Shaz and my garden isn't huge.
