Poor Mowgli

forgets he isn't as young as he used to be. Just chased next doors cat, over the fence, cat leapt the pond, so did Mowgli, except Tiger made it and Mowgli didn't. My neighbour came to tell me your cat is in my garden, very wet and very cross.
I brought him home, washed him as best I could and dried him. Rang the vets to see if he needed antibiotic cover, but they thought not.
So that means Mowgli will no longer be allowed out the garden unsupervised, as he has been the last couple of years, since he stopped bothering to escape, thanks for the flipping annoying cat next door.

Oh dear. On the one hand
but on the other hand it is a worry that he's decided to leave the garden again; albeit because he was defending his territory and chasing away another cat. But it is a worry when they don't usually do that - and (to me) probably even more worrying that he didn't scarper straight home after he fell into the pond
Hope he's regathered his pride and composure?

Poor Mowgli, is he looking all sheepish?
I never had a cat that didn't go out so have no idea what they may have got up to
One of my mum's came home one Sunday with half a leg of lamb, nicely roasted, only a few slices gone, that had obviously been left to cool somewhere

Poor Mowgli!
Di, I remember when I was little and next door's cat came sneaking in and tucked into the roast chicken that had been just taken out of the oven and left while my Mom set the table

When we were first married we had a Siamese cat called Mosing (Moses for short)
We took our first pub just before Xmas and had just let Mo out after a couple of weeks.
On Xmas afternoon he came home with a whole hot roast chicken
Our next door neighbour knocked at the door to ask if we had seen anyone in her garden
as someone has stolen their Xmas dinner that she had put on the window sill to cool a bit.
We never did tell her
