Vaginal discharge

Last night I noticed that Millie was licking herself more than usual.
This morning when she moved from where she had been lying on the floor I noticed a smear of mucusy stuff - it doesn't smell at all and was a yellowy colour and thick but watery (if that makes sense). I wiped her bottom with a clean tissue and although it was slightly wet there was no colour to it and no smell.
She is eating and drinking normally, going to the toilet normally and is bouncy and normal.
We noticed a small amount of mucus in the corner of her eye first thing this morning (although I doubt the two are connected).
I don't want to rush her up to the vets as I only noticed her licking yesterday (I haven't seen her licking herself at all this morning) so I thought I would just keep an eye on her for a couple of days.
Any ideas? (She was spayed about 3 years ago).
