Thanks Ally, actually we're off to the vet with her yet again in a few minutes :(
Only at the weekend we were saying how much perkier she was, and had been for a week or so. Then yesterday I started getting a bit worried, she seemed quieter.
This morning she didn't get up when either of us came downstairs, and her gums look pale... :(
She's obviously not feeling well.
Will post when I can
xx

I know Ally, it's not what we wanted either.

We saw the lovely vet (not Alison, the other lovely one). She's taken more blood to be tested, they'll phone tomorrow with the results.
The problem with IMHA is that relapses can occur at any time. It could be a fluctuation, which might be fixed with a higher steroid dose, or it could be a crash, in which case it's a question of how aggressively you dare treat it.
For now we're just to give her another steroid tonight (she's only been on one a day) and wait for the blood results - and keep an eye on her of course.

She didn't want her breakfast this morning but this afternoon she's had a tiny bit of rice, then tiny bits of chicken and rice.
This evening she asked for food so she's had a little bit of each.
We've also been giving her Zantac again as she kept licking her lips (feeling sick). We've been checking her gums, they look about the same, but as soon as she moves around she's panting.
If she asks for more food later she can have a bit more.
Poor girl, she's been through so much, it's breaking my heart.
