My new girls and my overgrown feather duster

Meet Meva at the back and Issey at the front, a crested cream leg bar and a Welsummer I bought them yesterday with my birthday money, hence their names. The huge thing in the middle is Octavia the Orpington, who amazingly enough is only 12 weeks the same as Meva and Issey. I only wanted two, I decided on three as Mary chicken seemed on her way out.

Mary chicken has now made a full recovery which means I bought that overgrown feather duster for nothing.

Then they were 12 weeks or there a bouts. They are now 20 weeks and much bigger. Still very nervous though, don't come near me, which is a shame. Octavia my Orpington is a little braver, but the other two just hide away.

They Should come round with attention. My omelette was flighty flappy and ran a mile at 12 weeks. Now she lets me pat her and pick her up. It took about 6 months.
