Fingers crossed - a minor breakthrough

I have tried the stress free way - and so far so good.
I gave her the antepsin and waited an hour (the vet had told me half an hour but a bit of googling recommends giving it either one hour before food or two hours after food) and haven't given the antacid. I plonked the bowl of food down on the kitchen step (she stood in the dining room so the food was elevated by around 9 inches from the floor) and just left her to it. I left the door open so that she could go out if she needed to without me having to watch her.
At 6pm she kept a whole bowl down - no trying to vomit, nothing. I left a bowl down and then at about an hour later she ate that and promptly regurgitated it - just food, no white foam. But that is different to what has been happening - she has been having the medicine and 30 minutes later she has eaten and the food has stayed down for about 5 minutes and then come back up, surrounded in this horrible white slimey foam stuff. I assume that the antepsin had worn off, making her regurgitate.
So 8.50pm I give her more antepsin and just over 50 minutes later she comes looking for food so she has anther bowl. She ate most of that and then had the sick face (yes, she has an "I'm going to puke" face) and went outside and paced for about 5 minutes but kept it down.
I had a long chat with the vet this evening who has said that it is fine for me to stop the antacid if I feel that is making her sick, although he doesn't think it should do but said you never know - each animal is different. (When she had the camera down we had stopped all medication for about 5 days before, including the antacid. Then the vet never told us to start the antacid again when we picked her up from the camera op so she was just on the antepsin. Three days later at a check up they told me to start the antacid again, 2 days after that the vomiting started). Also to keep her life as normal as possible and try leaving her food down for her to help herself to if that is what she is used to doing.
He said if she continues to be sick after a few more days time to contact him as he would like to get her back in and start again.
So I am going to plod on with the antepsin one hour before food, no stressing over her whilst she eats, back to normal routines and no antacid and see how she goes. I was wanting to try to get her off the ID food and onto a different one but that will have to wait as don't want to do too much too soon.
I do feel a little happier this evening - it was nice to see her keep down almost 1/4 of a tin of food at each sitting so almost 1/2 tin gone this evening plus just under 1/4 this morning (although some of that did come back up).
