son came yesterday with the family and brought the dogs
havent seen them for ages
they are labradors
well the noise they made on the wooden floors
was deafening and they were bouncing up and down with excitement
kept going into the garden in the rain
they did eventually settle down
then it was time to go home
and they got excitted again
they made me laugh

Lol Saundra, when the lovely Mr Wickers was alive, we had to shut him and Minnie out in the garden or with sheer excitement they'd have caused all sorts of disasters :D :D

It's impossible to keep a spotless home with two dogs  ;) I was just about managing it when we only had Peps, but these days I could live with a duster in my hand and a mop up my backside and it would still get messy

It's also impossible when you only have one but she's 3 times the size, with long hair and a fondness for water and muddy puddles ;)

but we wouldn't have it any other way would we

Long haired cats and a garden also don't mix - I often think I end up with more garden (ie leaves, grass cuttings, little twigs) inside the house vs outside
