Well...

She's home.
Mick arrived home with her at about 4.30pm. She has come home with an array of drugs - I have had to draw a time table up to remember when to give them to her. At the moment we need to feed her about once every hour or so - just over the weekend. She is going back on Monday to have another dilation done and we can talk to them then about moving forward with her feeding. I will be able to give her three feeds before I go to work and then either pop home for another feed at 12pm and then go back to work to get home and start feeding again from 4pm or finish work at 2pm.
She has to be fed at head height and her food is currently being mixed with natural yoghurt. Then we have to hold her head up for a few minutes after she has eaten.
Dan (the vet) is hopeful that after Monday the feeding will be much easier but if not, we can manage it as we know that it is only in the short term.
She seems very pleased to be home. She is tiny - just a little skeleton with skin and fur on but she's gaining weight quickly (500g in one day) so hopefully it won't take too long to get back to normal weight.
And the leg is fine. She walked up the hill with Mick, playing in the snow, using the leg most of the way. And she didn't mind her little coat - I will get a photo of her wearing that tomorrow.
It is lovely to have her home.
Thank you to everyone for your vibes and your massive support - you have kept me strong when I truly felt like giving in.
