I swear I'm going to snog our vet.

Aww what a superstar - which is one of Bb's pet names for Minnie ;)
Some dogs just are more special though, you have always spoken of Millie like that, and we have of Minnie too, she really has always been an example of the perfect dog, with something extra :)

You just don't realise what a massive part of the family they are until they are ill do you Di.

Millie was just "there" before. I would often moan about her, particularly with all her little foibles - not liking the hoover, being scared of the fire crackling, getting under my feet by following me around all the time, terrified of round things (the moon, road signs, lamp shades - you name it, she is scared of it).

But since her accident it has really hit home how important she is to all of us. With everything my dad is going through at the moment, all he asks about is how is Millie.

Also, I forgot to say but Millie played the stair game yesterday. For the first time in weeks.

And we found a new game - flicking a sock towards the end of her nose. It makes her charge around like an idiot, bouncing on the beds, barking away, tail wagging furiously.

It was an amazing sight after all this time of listlessness. :D :D :D :D

And also - I came home from work yesterday to find a ball behind the front door. When I had gone out in the morning the orange ball had been on S's desk. Millie had obviously removed it at some point and played with it on the stairs. One of her favourite games used to be rolling a ball down the stairs and chasing after it. I assume she was playing that whilst we were out yesterday. :D :D :D

That's so lovely to hear Debih - if you had a tail you'd be wagging it now :D

Your vet sounds wonderful, Debi!

It sounds like Millie is definitely making a lot of progress-playing with her toys is definitely a huge step in the right direction. :)

That is lovely news Debih.

I know when I took Mia in and I saw Kim, Simon's wife, she was saying how worried they had been about Mowgli. She said all our clients are special but sometimes one gets under your skin and Mowg was one of them. I liked the fact she said they had many a conversation about Mowgli over the dinner table.

At the time it did cost more but again I suppose it was good Simon wanted Mia in every night he was away so she could be checked as the locum 'doesn't know them like I do"
