I am so very sorry Shell, it's just so hard. I'm pleased Mia's passing was peaceful and she is now reunited with Mowgli.

Sleep tight Mia run free at the bridge. And a huge big ((((hug))) to you Shell; no doubt it's going to be a huge adjustment in your household now x thinking of you all

Thank you. I have cleared everything away, it was to painful to look at it.

I have stacks of wet senior food, so that is going to a cat rescue place near the vets, along with her bowls and blankets. The vets are having her dried food to pass on to a client who has a cat with kidney problems but is struggling financially. Her igloo is going to a lady at work, who has a stray cat that sleeps in her garden, so that will have a comfy bed for the winter.

Cant find a home for her large scratching post, so that will have to go to the tip along with her litter tray.

I think I will put her carrier online and try and sell that as it is fairly new and in very good condition

It's the final kindness you can give a dearly loved pet Shell and you did the right thing. As a cat lover my heart goes out to you.

thank you. The vets rang me at work today and I thought what do they want, I am not waiting for any results. Then they said "we have Mia here, ready for collection" And I suddenly realised she wasn't at home asleep on the sofa :| :|

When I am at work, it is so much easier
