Houses for sale

For our homes and gardens

That is a nice house, nice and handy for the trains too

I've seen houses on our estate go up for what seems like silly prices but they seem to sell quickly, there certainly doesn't seem to be a slow down in the housing market around here. I'd be quite interested to know what our house is worth now but there are only three other sets of semis the same as ours on the estate and none have been for sale since we moved here apart from next door who've had their house up for sale twice, had sales agreed and then not gone through with it.

It does seem to be everywhere doesn't it, houses had been taking ages to sell now suddenly they're all selling and at much higher prices.

Absolutely, Di! Much higher! :o

Jo I would like to know as well. We aren't thinking of moving right now, but Mick has been looking at our finances with a view to him retiring in about four or five years, and we would need to downsize. If D is still around (which I sincerely hope she will be) then we won't leave Gloucester, but otherwise we could go anywhere, as really she is all that keeps us here. B is hoping to be in Canada by then, and H is happy in Surrey, as is Chris!

We wouldn't go back to Surrey, we have priced ourselves out of the market in the SE but I would love to be by the coast somewhere, either here or abroad ;(

You have to go for it Kaz - the life style, the cost of living, the sun.

I'd love to live on the coast too Kaz, having a beach close by would be a dream come true. I'm not sure if I'd feel a bit isolated though, I'd need a city nearby too  We like Cheshire a lot though, which obviously isn't on the coast

Jo, I couldn't live in the sticks either, too much of a people person, I need to be around 'life' ;) :D

Ally I'd be there like a shot! All depends on how things pan out for us here though ;)

We'd love to move to Cornwall, but it is just too far away from Luke and I wouldn't move him. Not sure if we will ever move from this house to be honest, we've only been here 30 years
