It does. It’s been such a process Saundra, nothing like when we’ve bought in the past.
We were given money towards the deposit for our first place and didn’t have to declare anything but we’ve had to write letters, sign forms, produce bank statements going back 3 months showing the measly £2000 we’ve given him in our account and then it leaving our account and landing in his. The solicitor wanted this along with two forms of ID for both of us, the building society needed the same but with different forms to fill out.

I think the next step is exchange. He was given an estimated completion date of April 26th.

We're addressing the main issue I had with this house - the lack of a second reception room or dining room - by building a conservatory on the back of the kitchen :D

Probably, the four bed round the corner with one is on for 485k, but the main thing is it gives us the extra space.

That's what we found, having the glass curtains put in.

We now have two rather posh patio heaters, so can use it even now.

I am having a new Will made to include what will happen to the software including photos on my computer and mbile phone.

On the form I had to sign at the solicitors is a section about money laundering. The soliitor said it ia a way some people woill try to hide money.
