Think it's a busy road Jo, but he's not bothered by that. Probably why the house was so cheap.

Not sure how the Spanish road system works. Our motorways are A roads, the main roads are EN or IC with a number.

I should've read the details first, it says the motorway is a 2 minute drive away
It's a good sized plot isn't it....plenty of room to put in a pool!

I went to look at this today. Only for a nose, and it was open house so not wasting anyones time. I went with my friends who live 3 doors down and two of their neighbours were there too. Its a lovely old house, but the daughter in law thinks it will probably get demolished as the land is worth more, such a shame

It'll be a crying shame if that beautiful house is demolished :(

wouldnt it just Jo. The worrying thing is there is access back and front, so it lends itself to land development

Not local to me but this is my Green Day concert friend's house on Orkney. They had it built around 3 years ago and she doesn't like it.
They've been on the lookout for something suitable (they have four children although they're older children - their daughter who is 22, there's a 17 year old son and twin boys who are 15) and she messaged me last week to say that they'd found a house they liked so were going to get their's valued. It went on the market 2 or 3 days ago, she messaged me at lunchtime to say that they'd had six viewings already and then an hour or so ago she messaged me again to say they'd accepted an offer and had in turn had an offer accepted on the house that they want!

Unfortunately none of the photos show the sea view, it doesn't look much from the outside but it's so spacious and light inside.

I'm quite envious of her living there, although she does feel the need to escape every now and again and heads to Glasgow for a few days. The problem is the weather as they can get cut off due to flights and ferries being cancelled so they're wary of booking anything in Winter when there's more chance of that happening, it's difficult then if they need to get to a hospital appointment in Aberdeen.

On the plus side, they have beautiful beaches to walk on and every now and again the Northern Lights put on a show.
