We are thinking HOUSE MOVE THREAD

of downsizing  This house has been great for us for the last 12 years, but we now have three empty double bedrooms, and I have often thought I would like somewhere with more living space, either a separate dining room or a bigger kitchen diner, fewer bedrooms, and a bigger garden.

We have two appointments to view bungalows, so watch this space

So will I.

I went to look at some new apartments which are being built in November. But not for me. No garaunteed parking place, maintenance fees coud go up
every year and sale has to be through the managing agents.
Also heating is by electricity with only limited storage space.

We saw the first yesterday. The inside had a lot of potential BUT the constant noise from the motorway ruled it out.

Oooh very interested to see how you go on Kaz!

We’re keeping an eye on Rightmove, not for us but for Tom as he’s hoping to buy this year. He just needs to save a bit more so it’s looking like Spring before he can start properly looking.

This has got us thinking (again) too Kaz. :)

5 beds/4 baths, huge living accommodation and gardens with us two rattling around it.....

We've had twenty one wonderful years living here and when the twins lived at home it was always full of a constant stream of friends.

We've got three properties in Salobreña to look at in a fortnight. :geek:

We really fancy spending our latter years on the quiet (but enough going on) coast and I like the sound of the Costa Tropical.

Watch this space mark two....
