Hydroponics

Now that Mr L has 'retired' he is working on setting up a hydroponic vegetable garden :ugeek: He has been thinking about this since we saw a hydroponic system here a few years ago :D

In very simple terms it is a way of growing fruit and veg without the use of soil. The plants grow in small containers, such as guttering or in trays. They dangle their little roots into nutrient rich water which is pumped round. The system can be used in a very small space.

At the moment Mr L is knocking together a Heath Robinson affair in his workshop...I shall report back when it is up and running to let you know how it turns out :D

It's actually a lovely place to visit. It doesn't get loads of visitors, so it can be quite nice to have a wander around the garden. It is right by the river too, so very pretty. Stockbridge is on the doorstep and that is a pretty little town :D

Yes it looks lovely Loz, and there are alpacas too :D
An hour's a bit ambitious but I reckon if I was extra-careful for a few days before I could do it :)
