Bay leaf tree

Postby tonicha » 29 Mar 2014, 10:26

I have a garden bay leaf, not the ornamental kind, and it's looking a bit "leggy" and a few of the leaves of going brown before I even use them.

Looking at it, I'd guess it had been cut back quite hard in it's life before I got it.

Just wondering if I can actually cut it right back? without doing any harm to it.

Ours is looking a bit tatty too Ton - found this, which says they can be pruned quite hard, and now's the time to do it :)
