Dam and blast

Postby Paddypix » 13 May 2014, 13:36

I got a new oven recently from Curry's and when it was installed it made the gas hob look so grotty that I ordered a new black glass one to match. Turned out it was out of stock so I went off on holiday expecting it to be back in stock when I got home and sure enough it was. It came this morning, and the bl***y thing is too small for the recess. It has to go back and I've picked a different one which is £30 dearer. Can Curry's just take the extra £30? Can they hell! The money has to be refunded and the new hob ordered. They could have taken my order on the phone this morning but I don't entirely trust that the refunded money will go into my account as quickly as they promised, so I'll wait until it safely back in my grubby mitts before ordering again.

Still no money back onto my card, but I got an email from Curry's saying that it had been sent. Watch this space. I still haven't ordered the new hob until I get my money back. Don't want to end up paying for two hobs.

The money was in this morning so I've ordered another hob which will fit this time (I hope) and it's coming on Monday. Fingers crossed.
