a question for those growing (or have grown) courgettes

well following on from previous advice I'm watering my courgette plants lots and am getting a fair amount of fruit growing on them. BUT.... a lot of the courgettes start off OK then seem to shrivel from the tip down. If I'm lucky the then continue and grow into a very funny shape (very thin tip but fat base) or the tip starts going yellow then brown and bit by bit the entire courgette starts rotting.

I'm watering and feeding regularly

any ideas?

Haven't grown them for many years, but this used to happen to us a fair bit, Meriad.

Where are you growing them? It might possibly be a pollination problem .....

Glad I'm not the only one.

Kaz, would be interesting to see what Mick thinks. Are you growing yours in the greenhouse or outside? Mine are outside

Thanks for that Kaz

Debih, I've had a few courgettes already, but not as many as I thought I'd get. oh well - it just means I won't be able to share as much as I thought I would ;)
