I have a feeling it was you who posted a 'recipe' for window cleaning solution - possibly using a Karcher or similar machine.
I have done searches but not got anywhere - do you still have the solution? Seriously thinking about getting a Karcher....

Hi Gal, sorry, I didn't see this earlier. The stuff doesn't need a machine just an ordinary hose. It's brilliant!
This is the window cleaning mixture. 1/2 gallon warm water, 1 tablespoon of dishwasher rinse aid, 2-3 tablespoons of liquid detergent like Woolite. Mix it up, spray or wipe onto windows, then hose it off immediately. It's great on shower doors too.

Brilliant - thank you!!
Do you use a squeegee to wipe the solution off if not using a machine?

I mostly use it on the shower doors so I shower down the doors, wash them with the solution using a fairly sloppily wet cloth, then shower it off. Mr. Osc has used it on the windows, hosing down with the hose, apply solution with squeegee then hose it off.

Is woolite a laundry soap for washing woollens in? Or something else altogether.

Weka, I just had a quick google because I also thought Woolite was just for woollens but it does look as though it's actually a brand that makes regular liquid laundry detergent

So do I, but now also for cleaning the windows and shower doors
plus it's handy to bring on hols as a travel wash if you decant into a small plastic bottle.
