No - this is not about computers - it's concerning my memory.

I'm usually pretty good at remembering things that happened years ago (Even though I often
fail when it's something only minutes ago). But here's my problem:-

Many years ago I used to have a projector, that I used when giving lectures, which did not
take photographic plates or slides, but in which you could insert any piece of paper or illustration.
I can't for the life of me remember what it was called. Any ideas?

An Overhead Transparency Projector? I've seen them used several times on courses I've attended......

Overhead scanner projector/Digital visualizer.

You either placed your document in the scanner, as with a normal scanner, and the image was projected, or there was a digital camera on an arm and the document was placed underneath.

The first was good for flat sheets, but the second was better for magazines and books.

Thanks. That isn't the name I was trying to remember, but it was 50/60 years ago,
so probably the name I once new has been superseded in the meantime.

I'll Google the names you have given and perhaps that might reveal something.

PS. I can't find anything like what I'm trying to remember, but it may have been
the trade name that was used at the time.
