Confused .com

Changed my phone yesterday

Old contract had 500MB data bundle,new phone shows 120mb used of 2GB.

New contract is 1GB

Been chatting online to Tesco person and he has come back with

I have used 517mb and have 7.98gb th left

Can't get my head round this

Vic I can easily move this to the Computer board, if you'd prefer? Suff might see it then - I think Workingman has other things on his mind right now, and Suff rarely looks on Cafe x

Suff is busy being henpecked so gets even less time online.

Cruiser, one thing I would check is whether you have data rollover or not. If you do it will mount up until a limit is reached. Hence you could have more data left than your contract allows each month.

Worth checking the details of the contract.

Seems simple to me. You have 1,000 matchsticks at the beginning of the month. Most deals, If you don't use all your matchsticks, take away the excess and give you 1,000 new matchsticks.

Some deals, however, give you 1,000 matchsticks every month but if you don't use them all, they let you keep the old ones and give you a full new set every month.

Nothing to do with on off switches at all...
