Location setting

Postby JanB » 13 Oct 2022, 16:17

Been trying to order something for Grumpy on Amazon Spain, which we did successfully last week.

For some reason, my laptop thinks I'm in England and she managed to change it to Portugal I thought she'd done it permanently, but just tried again and it went back to United Kingdom.

I've already spoken to the helpline at Amazon and she couldn't help.

Anything I can do?

Did you change the clock? It's what I do if I want to be "somewhere else" for a while.

No, can't remember how I did it, I was trying so many different ways.

We don't have an Amazon.pt as such, but I went in through that and boom, everything changed.

Press the windows key to get up the windows start menu.

Type location.

It offers location services. Go in there and you can change the settings you need.
