Microsoft Edge browser.

For all those techno questions

Microsoft Edge browser.

Has anyone got the latest update?

It has changed all my personal settings, again, added all sorts of stuff nobody needs, and removed ways to disable things so they are now the default.

It has become bloatware of the worst type.

I have gone back to Opera. Yes, it changes things but it has a comprehensive list of switches in settings to turn things on or off.

I'm on Windows 10 and won't move so I suspect I don't have it yet. I also use minimal customised settings and a few plugins which control what they think they are doing with it.

Mine is Version 123.0.2420.97 (Official build) (64-bit)

What is yours?

PS. I am also running React OS in a VM. It is a classic XP type windows but an X64 version. Unfortunately it is still in Alpha but when / if goes Beta I might be tempted to have it as my main OS from a dual boot screen. It runs all the Win 11 programs I have tested.

It upgraded me and I haven't seen my preferences change.

Version 124.0.2478.67 (Official build) (64-bit)

Perhaps that is a consequence of W11?

I haven't seen React OS. Have to look.
