Please I need help.

In 2005 we started to e-file our taxes and all of the forms were downloaded on my husbands computer. A few weeks ago he deleted the years 2005/2006/2007 because we don't have to keep those records any longer. We now find that we need those forms again. Is there any way they can be retrieved. The IRS doesn't keep the tax forms for those years and I have tried to get them from some tax filing companies but because we have an overseas address they will not send us the discs. Please is there anyone out there that can help.

Just remember the more you write to the machine since the delete and the fuller the drive is, the less likely anything recoverable will be found.

Try it and see. It might take a while but, normally, it will find most of what you need.
