Whenever I have been on the Daily Mail news website or the Cafe forum this evening, I have had a red notice from Avast saying it has blocked a malicious URL

Just thought I would let you know.

Is it only happening on the DM website? And what does the Avast! log say about the URL being blocked?

Yes it's just the news site and the forums. I don't know what it says tbh.

Rodo, the info should be in Avast!'s log.

It is probably a link in an advert taking people to another site, so not much of a worry. Sometimes indirect linking is not liked by Anti-Virus programs.

If the warning starts cropping up in other places then it could be more of a problem.

It appears to be a link in a dieting website. The dieting site might be OK, but some of its contributors might not be.

Do a full scan with Avast! just to make sure you have not been infected.
