What Are We Reading In February?

I'm just getting to the end of the Alan Partridge book, Nomad, it's made me really laugh out loud at times :D

I'd have sent it down to you had it been a proper book Kaz, but it's on my Kindle :?

It is, fairer on the authors though I suppose.

I finished Nomad on the bus yesterday. Big mistake. Had to cover my mouth with my scarf so that people wouldn't see me quietly giggling.

I'm now hooked on Afterwards by Rosamund Lupton. Looks like this is going to be a good one!

I stayed up far too late to finish Afterwards last night. Thoroughly enjoyed it, a whodunnit with a bit of paranormal combined with a lot of sadness.

Once my Kindle's charged I'll have a look at what to read next.

I'm reading How to be Brave, by Louise Beech. It was obviously one of their deals as it's full price now.
It's good; a 9-yr-old newly diagnosed with diabetes, her dad away with the army and how she and her mother cope.
Intertwined with the story of the mother's grandfather, who was on a cargo ship that was torpedoed during the war.

Funny with kindles isn't it Jo, the batteries last so long you forget about it until you can't read any more :)

You do forget Di, and when the pop up appears on the screen it's a bit of a panic if you're mid-read

I've now started The Universe Versus Alex Woods by Gavin Extence. I just looked on Amazon to remind myself what it was about and apparently I bought it in 2013 so it's about time I read it

I gave up on the Gavin Extence book. One review said that Alex Woods was a modern day Adrian Mole but i couldn't see that myself and it was boring me.

I've started The Kashmir Shawl by Rosie Thomas :D Thanks for the link Di, looks like it's going to be a good one :D
