A classic! "Mr. Standfast" by John Buchan, originally published in 1919. It's the third of his WW1 spy-thriller series featuring Richard Hannay, the first being "The 39 Steps".

The Ian Fleming and James Bond combination of its day ..... 8-)

Just finished The Kashmir Shawl and really enjoyed it!

I've now started Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. Just remembered reading that there's a TV series been made of it, think Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon are in it. Might see if it's on TV here.

It is, I am watching it! :D It's on Sky Atlantic (I think) will check later, I'm not 100% sure about it atm....

I finished Wrong Number while we were away, and have started Where the Truth Lies by Julie Corbyn - read her before and am enjoying this one up to now :D

Still dipping in and out of Bonkers, but Emma lent me The Light Between Oceans and it's stunning 8-) :) It's by M L Stedman and was turned into a film.
