I'm reading Lynda la Plante's Good Friday.
It's set in the 1970's when Jane Tennison is a young detective constable and I'm really enjoying it.
Next on my list (thanks to some excellent purchasing recently in the UK
) is Eddie Izzard's autobiography.

How Hard Can It Be, by Alison Pearson. It's a sequel to her best seller "I Don't Know How She Does It" that got made into a film

I started Sue Perkins' autobiography, Spectacles, but have abandoned it already.
Have decided I just don't enjoy autobiographies, that makes two or three mostly unread.
Must choose something else!

It does seem that way Di - I prefer biographies to autobiographies myself

Carole Matthews's latest one, and I can't remember the title but it's a Take That song (as the characters are fans).
Think I'll read the first Gill Sims book next, I bought the latest one on Kindle for £1.99 yesterday.
*Edit - it's called Million Love Songs.

Oh I think I have that one on my Kindle as well Jo! I haven't started another since finishing Brothers and Sisters last weekend, so may well open that one next!

Isn't it good we all like different things as I have (too embarrassed to say
) autobiographies from the sublime to the ridiculous.
I really like Sue Perkins....if I come across this in a charity shop I'd still buy it.

Yes Ally I'd noticed you read a fair few biographies.
I read a very light book, Endless Beach, twaddle but quite enjoyable.

This heat is making it very easy for me to stay by the pool with a book.
I've rattled off loads since I got back from the UK.
I loved Eddie Izzard's autobiography and am now reading Exposed by Roberta Kray. Excellent!

You should try The Other Woman by Sandie Jones, it's really good I can't put it down!
