What are we reading in October?

I have Mark Billingham's Lazy Bones right next to me to start tonight when I go to bed.

I've read a couple of Mark Billingham's novels, he's not bad! :D

I'm ploughing through Peter James' "Absolute Proof". He usually writes crime fiction - the DS Roy Grace series, based in Brighton, which are excellent - but this one's a different one - it has a sort of Dan Brown "Da Vinci Code" type plot.
It's readable, but perhaps not quite as good as Dan Brown himself.

I've just finished an excellent read : "What You Did" by Claire McGowan. At a reunion get-together for old University friends, Ali's best friend is attacked, and accuses Ali's husband of rape. What follows is an unravelling of her cosy life, and a painful revision of her closest relationships.

Who was it that had read/wanted to read Eleanor Oliphant? Is it Jo?

I have just started a book in a similar vein (once Amazon get to know your book preferences they keep sending you recommendations!!) about, rather appropriately for me, a Cat Lady :D  Looking interesting so far 8-)
