What are we reading in May?

Tucked up in bed  and just about to start Anna Lou Weatherly's The Lie In Our Marriage.

It's the sixth and final in the Dan Riley series and as the other five were fab I'm looking forward to this one too.

Just finished Nemesis by Jo Nesbo - for the second time.

And now finishing off Children of the Revolution by Peter Robinson, also for the second time.

Then finding a new book for tomorrow.

I'm reading a downloaded free sample of Spare, by HRH - not sure why I'm bothering as it's the biggest heap of whining self-pitying nonsense ever  :cute:

Shan't be bothering to buy the rest of it!

Adele Parks Just My Luck. About the pitfalls of a huge lottery win. Thought provoking.

I’m reading How To Kill Men And Get Away With It by Katy Brent. I’m reading it as it’s an online book group choice, not sure how far I’ll get with it as I’m an hour into it and don’t like any of characters who are all social media influencers, and despite the title I think the reader is supposed to.

And The Charlatans and Johnny Marr one week later

I’m currently reading Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus and loving it! It’s unusual and a great read.

Oh my word! The Midnight House by Amanda Heard - an absolutely stunning story set in County Kerry and London, in 1940 and 2019. Read it and weep :( :) :( :)

99p on Kindle :D

I’m reading Strange Sally Diamond by Liz Nugent - it’s dark, sad and awful in places, but I can’t put it down.
