I'm reading The Widow by K L Slater.

I've read a few of hers recently and enjoyed them.

I'm working my way through some of Fern Britton's Cornish novels - easy reading :)

I’m still reading the Cecelia Aherne book I started last month, I’d hardly picked my Kindle up while John was off and we were away (I put it in the room safe when we arrived and didn’t take it out until we checked out).

I’ve just finished The Lock Up by John Banville, enjoyed it. Now struggling with Still Life by Sarah Winman, my sister does buy some strange books, I’ll see how it goes.

Osc, I absolutely loved Still Life when I read it last year. I think it's one of my favourite reads of the past few years :)

The NYT review of it sums up just how I felt on reading it, but could never put it in such an articulate way :) https://www.nytimes.com/2021/11/02/book ... inman.html
