I only read paper backed books. Get them from a shop in town. You can get three second hand books for £1.00.

Got several before it closed due to the lock down. Hope it opens soon as I am getting to the end of my stock. I like detectives especialy Peter James.

I have not got a kindle.

Am just reading "The Snowman".
It was a free gift when I had a small win on the Post Code lottery.
It is a good detective story transaleted from Norwegian.

I like detective stories.

I'm a fan of Peter James too, Cruiser, especially the DS Roy Grace series. As it happens, I've just started one of his stand-alone books, "The Secret of Cold Hill".

Mrs O is running out of books in lockdown. Charity shops are closed and the only outlet in our town carrying new paperbacks is Waitrose, who only have a very small selection. She is nearly down to the Hilary Mantel which she's been putting off since last March!!

I have 29 books waiting to start! I have fairly wide reading tastes, and always have a large supply of favourite authors in stock, from Lee Child's "Jack Reacher" thrillers to Tom Holland's "In the Shadow of the Sword" which is a discourse on the origins of Islam and the conflicts within the Christian Roman Empire between AD500 and AD800 .....

I've got kindle on my tablet Ossie and thanks to the ridiculously cheap prices of purchasing books on it I've got 36 waiting to be read.

That includes 3 'box sets' of murder mystery, a total of 13 books that cost 3.19€. :o

I would panic if my reading matter was running out.

Nah, it’s “real” books for me, I really only use ebooks if on holiday (what’s a holiday?)
