The new book in the Cousins war series is out tomorrow and I am desperate to get it for my holiday. It tells the story of Edward and Elizabeths eldest daughter who marries Henry Tudor (who becomes Henry VII) - and they become the parents of Henry VIII.

As you know I am dead stingy and rarely buy books - I either download them to me kindle if they are free or 99p or I borrow them from the library. But I know that I won't get this out of the library before I go on my holibobs on Saturday so I decided to buy it.

I first looked on Amazon about a week ago and for a kindle download it was about £14. I have been hanging on and looking now and again and it is coming down and down in price - before it is even released!!!

Yesterday it was £9. I have just been and looked and it is now £7.60.

I am going to hang on until Friday night to download it to see if it comes down anymore.

How on earth can they reduce the price so much when it is not even released yet??

I want it too having read the other four in the series. I'll keep watching the price to see how cheap I can get it for the Kindle.

Yesterday it was £7.60 but today it was £8.50 so I bit the bullet and bought it.

I had an Amazon voucher that someone had given me so I bought it from that. It was still painful though, paying that much for a book. If I wasn't going on holiday I would have hung on longer to see if it went back down again.

Must watch out for that, last night we watched the second episode of The Real White Queen, which was soooooo interesting and finished with the story of Elizabeth and Henry Tudor.

It was only released in hard back on 1 August .

I don't usually buy straight away - I wait til I can get it from library - but as we were on holiday I treated myself.
