WM

21 is correct. I saw it positioned below Green land so you are in the right area.

39--You are 10% out. If no one gets closer I will give it to you

Aggers

14 is correct. It was 1935.
Debih

45 is correct--Who did you ask for this one?

Miasmum

15--Wrong--They have two well known teams like Manchester
45 is wrong
You deserve a mark for trying

My work colleagues.

I didn't realise we weren't allowed to discuss it with other people! I thought it was just googling, etc that was against the rules.

39. Working on 10% from my last guess I will go with 324 metres.

41. Is it still Brian Close? He was at one time, the old Test days, but there are so many ways to represent England now....

Cruiser, may I say that I have enjoyed this. It has been one of those where the correct answers are just over the horizon - known but not rememberable.

Two examples: The yachtswoman is Naomi something-or-other and the European Cup winner is..... arghhhhhh!

SOL is bugging me no end. I hope that you will fill in the blanks for us tomorrow.

For my free go:
8. Is it the height of the thrower plus their vertical outstreched arm - 2.5 m say?

I know Cruiser, I was being grumpy.

I don't know any more. I've asked the dog but she refuses to speak!

Off to see if I can guess any.
