Classroom clever clogs.

Some children will always have a go at answering an exam question, even if they don’t know the correct answer. Here are some real answers from exam papers....

Cleopatra was a very clever needle woman.
King Arthur invented round tables.
Hiawatha’s wife was always laughing, so they called her Minnie Ha Ha.
Schubert wrote unfinished symphonies and became famous for not finishing what he started.
SOS is a musical term meaning same only softer.
Stradivarius is a disease.
Bach is a world famous compositor.
A republic is someone who keeps a pub.
A prodigal is the son of a priest.
Killing a man in cold blood means killing him when he is dead.
Gross profit iis the profit on 144 articles.
False doctrine means giving people the wrong medicine.
Cossacks are things ladies wear.
Buddha is worshipped chiefly in Buddha Pest.
Matrimony is a place where souls suffer for a time on account of their sins.
The wisest man in the Bible is Paul, because he didn’t marry. (My Dad says so)

And from GCSE Exam Papers….

Q Use the word ‘judicious’ in a sentence. A. Hands that judicious are as soft as your face.
Q. Name a major disease associated with cigarettes. A. Premature death.
Q. Name the four seasons A. Salt, pepper, mustard and vinegar.
Q. What is a turbine? A. Something an Arab wears on his head.
Q. What is a Hindu? A. It lays eggs.
