Masterchef

The 10th series started last night - I remember very clearly watching the first one!

I really enjoyed it..loved Lindy Hopping Robert. :D :D

Does anyone else think Holly bears a startling resemblance to Jilly Johnson? 8-)

It was nice to see three previous winners/runners up all doing so well too.

Funnily enough only last week when they were over Gez and Sharon were raving about Wahaca in Covent Garden saying how fab it was. :D

Yes I was watching the first one too :D
Loved it, every year I think oh, it'll be getting boring - but it was only bad when they messed with it (those awful auditions!).

Yes I guess she does look like Jilly :)

I love Masterchef. I think I've see. Every recipe.

I don't like that curly haired bloke - the previous winner/finalist. Don't know why - he just really annoyed me.

I loved the Lindy Hop man - instant mash and tinned fruit and still he got through. :D

My favourite part of all the shows was a few series back where the contestants got to see a tray of ingredients and had to identify what they were, some of them were rubbish at it.

Oh yes I liked that ingredients test too Debih :D

The mash reminded me of Nesreen, d'you remember she once posted a recipe for some Moroccan recipe, made with mashed potato (was it little biscuits?). She said she'd never got them quite right till she asked her mum and she said she used instant mash

That instant mash reminded (and made me laugh!) of when I was younger. :D

Sis and I, on our birthdays, were allowed to choose any food that we fancied and mum, dad, sis and I would all eat it..the rule being it was food we all more or less liked - except I took great exception to the year Michele's menu included instant mash and sausages for the main (the sausages were fine  ) and dessert was Angel Delight (double yuk!) and prunes (triple yuk!)

She was mean that year was my sis!
