After the introductions and the phobias they have have found water, now all they have to do is make fire to make it potable.......
So most the rest of the programme focusses on their attempts to get a fire going, and yes, they are well into Ray Mears tricks. They have spent more than twelve hours trying to do it with a bow and a stick. The sun bears down from a cloudless sky, and watching on is one of their number............... wearing spectacles.
We used to make fires in seconds, on a sunny day, with a jam jar.
