I still watch and Sandi and Noel do not bother me one bit.

However, this week's was a fix.

Rahul was last in every department, but Manon got thrown out. PC nonsense.

She was not brilliant, but Rahul burnt everything.

I was really surprised that not one of them knew that French pastries are supposed to be delicate.

I know Osc, it was a rather odd round for a semi final... in all honesty I thought they were all equally bad and no-one should have been sent home.

Frank - agree re last week; I was amazed that Rahul wasn't sent home then. And if he goes on to win then 100% fix

What a let down.

Kim-Joy just squeezed the first two rounds with Ruby 2nd and 3rd and Rahul 3rd and 2nd, so it was all to play for.

I knew K-J was in trouble when she went for ginger overload. I was screaming for her to make Atlantis from flavoured shortbread columns, plinths and lintel just jumbled up like a real ruin. A coral reef of coloured brandy snap and a few fish might have done it.

I really could not decide on the winner - a slightly burnt caramel or a curdled dip. Tough one.

I have had a feeling for some time that everything was being done to give it to Rahul.

Butter cream flowers on a ring doughnut anyone?

You and me both!

He seems a nice lad but he's fallen off as the show has gone along.

I though Kim-Joy was head and shoulders the best. Very organised, never panicked, no drama. Just very competent all round. How do you win two out of three challenges and not win overall?

I am happy with the result as they were all tip top bakers, I would have preferred KimJoy to win but Rahul winning is lovely also 8-)

It was hard to choose between the two girls and they both obviously loved Rahul so it was probably easier to make him
the winner than choose between the girls. They all seemed happy at the result.
