This news gave my weekend the most wonderful start ;) I've seen Anton live a few times, and to be honest, I suspect he could be a bit of a loose cannon, yes he's very funny but you would never know what he might come out with. That programme he did "Step up to the Plate" was ok, but only ok. I quite liked the mixture of Tess and Claudia (I'm a Claudia fan) when they did it last season, and Tess didn't seem so vapid and airheaded when Bruce wasn't there. For me, anyone is better than Bruce and it'll be interesting to see who they come up with.

The papers reckon Claudia Winkleman has all but been given the job. Not everyone's choice, but I quite like her.

It will be interesting to see who gets the job.

Admittedly we shall miss old Bruce, but he has had a good innings.
