It’s not often that I go to the cinema but I’m definitely going to see this, I grew up watching Laurel and Hardy with my Dad.

You have no idea how much L & H featured in my life growing up. Massive love from me and dad and a real connection that has bonded us from an early age. :D

The first night I met Don he mentioned L & H and I said how much I loved them....his story about meeting me is 'I met this beautiful woman, great smile, great legs and she loves Laurel and Hardy. How could I not fall in love with her!'

The Panopticon theatre in Glasgow that we have visited twice has the very stage that Stan Laurel made his debut.

There's a photo on fb of Don and I standing on the very spot. :D :D

Ally, the first time we went to LA we made it our mission to find the steps from The Music Box, the area looks a bit different now to when they were trying to move the piano up them as there's now house built on the grassy area but it was wonderful to see them and there's a sign post commemorating them.

Laurel and Hardy films and Roadrunner cartoons, that's what me and my Dad used to watch together  And football

Oh yes, The Roadrunner …. BEEP! BEEP!

Much better than Bugs Bunny or Tom and Jerry. :cute:

Always used to watch Roadrunner, and Popeye which was always on at Monday tea-time, IIRC ….

(I sort of identified with Wile E. Coyote …. :D )

We are planning on going on Monday. One of my favourite clips, it makes me roar laughing every time.

I was excited to see this too but I heard it was about their later lives, post a fall out and post when they were 'big'.

Be interesting to see what you all think - I loved watching them as a kid, used to cry with laughing at the daft things they got up to! Stan lived about 10 miles from me for much of his younger life :) (Bishop Auckland)
