Chernobyl

Have any of you been watching this on Sky Atlantic? We've been getting it on Now TV since dumping Sky.

My God, what a series. We watched the final episode last night and sat in stunned silence for a long while afterwards.

I only have Freeview so will not get to see this till it becomes free-to-air....

I remember watching the disaster unfolding and thinking that even the helicopter monitoring crews were in great danger. Those on the ground had no chance, as history has shown.

I have seen plenty of documentaries and docudramas since then and really do admire the bravery of those people who tried to contain it and then cap it, even up to the present day and the building of the new sarcophagus to contain it.

I would have liked to see this but don't have Sky or NowTV….I do however have an app on my tablet called Showbox and it is on there, so can watch it on the tablet.

I can imagine how humbling it will be...
