The Pale Horse.

That was a hard watch with only passing resemblance to the story as I remember it from all those years ago.

I cannot think of how they could have made it much slower, disjointed or get the actors to mumble more.

But now there is no escape....

I watched Endeavour, and was planning to watch on iPlayer. Is it worth it? :cute: :?:

I will not say "Yes" or "No", but give it 15 minutes and then decide. ;)

Snap! I will give it a shot as I have read some reviews online this morning which look favourable.

Well, thank goodness that's over!

The critics loved it but the public only gave it only 1.9 out of ten.

I am with the public.

Shell, sort of because I read the book many moons ago, but it had been 'adapted' so much it was like sweet shortcrust mix v crumble. A lot of similar ingredients, but a vastly different outcome.

It could have all been condensed into an hour. All those long shots of him walking on a road, or looking away into space with no dialogue. Lots of shots of Much Deeping road signs! And I did understand that when he was going out he would be using the car. I did not need a shot of him on the steps then looking round the square then walking to the car then getting out his keys then getting in..........

You'd have been better doing what I did MM, wtched the first ep on Saturday on catch up so when I saw it last night, it was still fresh in my mind.

I went on Twitter to find out if anything, what actually happened. I was with it till the last scene to be fair, but then couldn't work out the end! Twitter is usually pretty good for explanations, I'll see if I can still find the link I read >>>>>>>>>

I've not read the book, but I really enjoyed the programme :)
