I’m sure I read that he’s supposed to be 55 in these early episodes.

Kaz, I was 13 when it started to even someone 25 looked old to me then

I was 19 Jo but I’m 59 now and Paul Collins looks worse with that perspective

Don’t you think that 50+ people looked older in those days? He looks well into his 60s or older, and Annabelle looks quite frumpy with her safe cardigans, slacks, and permed hair

Yes and when someone says early 80's it sounds like yesterday, I have to add it up in my head to realise its 40 years ago

We are on episode 45 Alan Partridge has just moved in the bungalow. I cant remember him at all, but laughed at the name.
