Gal did you watch it? I thought I was suffering with memory loss as I couldn’t remember any of it. Having read a comparison review with the book I now know why, it was basically a completely different story

Yes I did watch but what a disappointment!!!

As you say it may as well have been a different tale altogether, so little did it resemble the book, which imo was FAR superior both in tension, anticipation and apprehension.

I went on Twitter afterwards, as I like to do after something on telly, and lots of people had the same thoughts. Trevor Eve from Waking the Dead produced it, methinks he should stay in front of the camera!!

I was given this book in with a load of others but put it to one side as non-readable, having watched the excerpts.

I'll give it a go.
