Yes Ally  We are left with a load of right rubbish     pick tv, horrow channel

We now have to use our MEO package, which is Portugese, but at least we'll be able to watch the champions league footie :D

There are a lot of people trying different things and in Italy, they are actually able to get some beeb channels, so we're just waiting, rather than spending a lot of money we don't have ;)

Wide boys picking up the signal and sending it on in some way to Southern Europe for cash. Don`t know if that is legal.
I have a problem too in that TVE is moving to Astra at 19 *E and I do not know if I will be able to get that.

A lot of the things are illegal Ped.

Having a vpn to get filmon is illegal, as are many other things mooted. Then again, so was us having a sky card

We're just going to wait and see - our internet speed is dodgy, so best not to go to the expense of buying something then finding it only works sometimes. And if we move, maybe it will be better, it's really rubbish in our village

Ton, you do not need a vpn for Filmon, it is available perfectly legally through any browser. However, because it will eat away at your broadband usage It is not an alternative to satellite or aerial services for an evening's entertainment. It is more an opportunity dip in now and then to keep up with little gems you just cannot miss. ;)

Just queried it with Grumpy and double checked - it is illegal to have such devices in Portugal. Should we be found out - and although they're slow, they're sure - we would then not be able to have ANY internet connection and even a mobile phone would be dodgy. For ever.

We'll wait and see, it's not a major thing for us.

As an aside, the laws here might seem a bit weird, but if you're caught having an English car here, after 6 months and you're still not registered, they'll confiscate the car and escort you to the nearest border
