Anybody watch it over the last two nights?

Charlotte Rampling, Michelle Dockery (Mary in Downton) Michael Gambon....

I thought that it was rather good, and the ending left me feeling that there might be more.

I watched it WM and really enjoyed it.

I really thought that the daughter was going to walk back to the house at the end and hear the shotgun go off though. Did you?

I would be happy to see a continuation of it - they did leave it quite open didn't they.

Yes Debs!

I though shotgun or noose... yet there she was in the garden looking out for the 'strangers'.

It has been left in the 70s(?) so still room for a (paranoid) continuation.

Yes, watched both parts on the iPlayer and went through moments of thinking it was boring and stupid but something about it compelled me to keep at it. Mainly because I love the 1940's frocks and the hats and the hairstyles and the sauve men in suits and the cars. Then the 70's fashions of loons and room dividers made me smile as well.

I knew Rufus Sewell was short but he looked like he'd shrunk and losing his good looks but the acting was good. Charlotte Rampling has still got it with her poise and no sign of botox making her a brilliant role model for the older woman.

I'm not a fan of anything retro in TV and film but it was one of the better ones I suppose. So I think you may be right and there will be more to come.

I did enjoy watching 'The Girl' on BBC2 on Wednesday with Toby Jones acting a brilliant Alfred Hitchcock.
