This is a lovely hour presented by Len Goodman 'The British Ballroom Story' on BBC4 on Thursday. A feel good programme.

I've been to several of the ballrooms he mentions like The Orchid Purley, Streatham Locarno, Hammersmith Palais, The Lyceum and the Cafe de Paris.

Loved it!! We've been to the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool and the Rivoli, both featured in the programme, and saw many familiar faces in the Tower segment.

I like Len anyway as he has a very easy and natural manner and the history of ballroom was a fascinating story. Glad you enjoyed it
