What a fantastic programme and what a worthy winner.

All three did so well and cooked some amazing food.

I would have loved Jack to win--his food looked amazing :D
Ping is a wonderful cook but mainly Chinese orientated.
Luke did so well too.
Lovely series-I really enjoyed it

I thought they were all fab (Luke was sometimes a bit mad professorish  ) and Ping was a worthy winner - but I felt her food was sometimes a bit too oriental based..not surprising though..but I was rooting for Jack.

He was amazing for a 21 year old..so mature and some of his food was awesome.

Well done Ping - a superb final. :D :D

Al wot loves Masterchef.

We have also been watching the British Menu series where the chefs are professionals. Some of them are very experienced and a few even have a Michelin star.

Honestly their food at times isn't a patch on some that the Masterchef contestants recently produced.

I wonder what they will do in the future. Sometimes I feel that there isn't enough follow-up. You get so involved in them as people that you want to know how they progressed and what they did next.

I did enjoy it Rodo when they had previous finalists or winners at the table for the contestants to cook for them - it was lovely to see how they'd fared since being competitors themselves.

I like the Great British Menu. :D

I've watched it now, thanks to iplayer didn't miss a thing :D
I picked Jack out from the first round, isn't he amazing for 21  :D
Glad for Ping though, and tbf he can now do whatever he wants, all three finalists will have lots of offers to pick from :)

You need variety in the contestants as well as the food don't you, and Luke was brilliantly mad :D
Will be good to see what they get up to over the next year :)

I wish they did more of a follow-up on the contestants.
