Really looking forward to this at 9pm on BBC2 tonight :) It's based on the Hilary Mantel books about Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn, and the plotting around her rise and downfall ;)

I love historical stuff on TV, especially Tudor stuff, but gave up on The Tudors as it was ridiculous    This looks fab and Damian Lewis is a great choice to play Henry, just before he got fat and ill ;)

I'm really looking forward to this too.

We are supposed to be out tonight at a friends leaving do but I don't know if I will go. I will feel bad if I don't go but if the weather is still horrible I don't fancy the walk down to the pub at the bottom of the village and back - particualarly if its icy.

I'd rather light the fire and stay in to watch Wolfhall.

I'm not sure about this I must admit. It's a good cast, but I can't stand Hilary Mantel. She is such a weird woman. I'm going to give it a go anyway.

Oooh Debih if you ask me it's MUCH too slippery to be going out ;)

I agree about Ms Mantel Rodo, she is a very strange woman, but the cast looks good so hopefully it will live up to the hype 8-) :)

I agree. She was on a BBC2 programme, The Last Days of Anne Boleyn, with Greg Walker, David Starkey, Philippa Gregory and Suzannah Lipscomb and boy was she so sure of herself and her views. They are historians who majored in Tudor history, she probably read some of their works, but she writes stories and knows everything.

I will give it a go, but if it doesn't match up I will enjoy a touch of schadenfreude if she receives the sort of vitriol she is so handy at giving out.

I'll watch anything about The Tudors...... apart from "The Tudors". ;)

Last night it was the hidden killers in Tudor homes. Gruesome.

New 4 part series of Midsomer Murders clashes with Wolf Hall episodes 2>5.

So it's an Inspector Lindley repeat on Drama tonight, and then we'll cut loose with the mayhem next week ... Spoiler - someone dies in a bowl of eggs and eels!   :o
